Dogs are a part of everyday life in the countryside.  They are important as working dogs, family pets, guard dogs and loyal companions. The Country Catalogue has 3 resident dogs that seem more than happy to try and test our products for us. The result is a variety of products that do the job and do the job well.  Our oldest dog, a working Springer spaniel started to slow down and ‘spring’ slightly less. After a day out on the shooting field she was stiff and exhausted. This was until we were introduced to Joint Aid for Dogs which is sprinkled onto her food everyday.  She is now more active and can almost keep up with her energetic puppies.  We cannot recommend this product enough and would keep using it regardless of whether we sold it or not.  Another favourite with our dogs is the Cosi-Pet Tough pads.  They are extremely practical and durable, with a water resistant cover and they are available in 4 sizes.  The beds can be used on their own or with the Cosi-Pet Tough Pet covers.  These are removable towelling covers which are machine washable and easily replaced back over the main dog beds.  The material quickly absorbs moisture from wet or muddy dogs and the damp cover can then be replaced with a clean, dry one.  This is important for particularly active or older dogs that could suffer from stiff joints or other painful conditions.
