This silcone based floatant completely insulates the fly fibres from the water, keeping the fly high and dry, once applied.  Best applied over all the dressing before fly is wet, to prevent any moisture being trapped beneath.  Similarly, after fly has caught fish, or after repeated drenching in rough water, thoroughly dry the fly and reapply as necessary.
