Jack Murphy, established in 1922 is an Irish company that manufactures good quality yet affordable countryside clothing.  The design of the clothing is often simple but classic and attractive with the main emphasis on the protection and comfort it offers. The ranges that Jack Murphy offers includes clothing for men, ladies and children and some accessories such as hats to finish off your outfit.  All of the clothes are designed to not only look good but to help you to enjoy being in the great outdoors, whether you’re horse riding, walking the dog, strolling along the coast or walking to the local beer garden!  Many of the Jack Murphy fleeces and jackets feature a unique waterproof, windproof and breathable system that is exclusive to the company and they are also treated with Teflon/DWR.  The ranges that use this exclusive technology are known as Seal 2000, Seal 3000 and Seal 5000.  The garments that use Seal 2000, Seal 3000 or Seal 5000 are breathable, so perspiration in the form of moisture vapour is able to move out of the fabric, keeping the wearer comfortable and dry.  Seal waterproofing keeps the water out and the repellency causes it to run off of the material.
