The Laksen Autumn Winter 2011 Collection

The men’s Laksen Dartmoor Shooting Coat has sparked some interest here at The Country Catalogue this season.  This smart and comfortable jacket has been made using 100% recycled polyester from recycled products such as milk bottles. Be reassured through, this green solution does not mean a compromise on quality; this technical shooting jacket features a CTX™ membrane so is waterproof, windproof and breathable. 

A new favourite of ours is the Lasksen All Natural Balsam which is made from the natural raw ingredients of Lanolin, beeswax and coconut oil.  This unique balm maintains and preserves leather products, wood, rubber boots and oilskin fabric.  It adds natural oils to leather, impregnating and preserving, to prevent it drying out, cracking or fading. 

The Technical Side of Laksen

CTX™ Membrane:  Comfort, Technology and Xtreme

The CTX™ Membrane, used within many of the Laksen products, was designed specifically with shooting and hunting clothes in mind.  The membrane is completely watertight and windproof whilst still allowing the body to breathe, so the skin stays dry and comfortable.  In addition, the CTX™ Membrane is almost noiseless, an important quality for stalking and shooting.
